International Partnerships
The International Yoga Federation (IYF) collaborates with organizations across the globe to promote peace, wellness, sustainability, and human development through yoga and complementary initiatives. Our partnerships are rooted in shared values and a commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Below are some of the key institutions we work with and the projects we jointly carry out:International Peace Association (France, Turkiye, Germany)
IYF supports and works in close coordination with the International Peace Association (IPA), established in France, Turkiye, and Germany. Together, we conduct international campaigns to promote peace, emotional awareness, and intercultural understanding.One of our flagship collaborations includes the publication and global distribution of the book Peace Psychology, translated into seven languages (Turkish, French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Hindi, and English), and presented at major cultural events including TEDx.
IYF also supports the expansion of IPA to other countries, aiming to build a worldwide network of national peace associations that work collectively to foster global stability and prevent conflict.

International Change Federation (ULUDEF)
Through our partnership with the International Change Federation, IYF organizes and supports World Change Day (July 7) — an annual global observance promoting inner transformation, mental well-being, sustainable living, and peaceful societies.Events have been held in Azerbaijan, the United States, England, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Turkiye, and Argentina. IYF is actively involved in efforts to have World Change Day officially recognized by the United Nations.
These programs reflect our joint commitment to ECOSOC-aligned themes including climate action, peace and security, gender equality, education, violence prevention, youth engagement, and community empowerment.

Healthy Living Foundation (Turkiye & France)
In partnership with the Healthy Living Foundation, IYF supports the Self-Sustaining Villages Project, currently underway in Turkiye and France. These villages serve as practical models of peaceful, ecologically sound, and self-reliant living.The project contributes directly to ECOSOC objectives including food security, biodiversity, natural health, agriculture, poverty reduction, and disaster resilience.

South America Yoga Federation (Argentina, Paraguay, Panama)
IYF collaborates with the Federación Sudamericana de Yoga to deliver International Yoga Expert Certificate (IYEC) programs throughout Latin America. These initiatives focus on women's empowerment, physical and mental wellness, and peace education.The training directly supports goals such as human rights, education for women and youth, non-violence, and inclusion through yoga-based transformation.
Global Membership and Shared Initiatives
IYF maintains an international network of 62 member organizations from 56 countries. In cooperation with these members, we organize global yoga festivals, educational retreats, humanitarian awareness campaigns, and the annual World Yoga Championships, engaging participants from over 210 countries.These championships are designed not only as inclusive, non-competitive gatherings but also as platforms for promoting the values of non-violence, human rights, gender equality, climate awareness, and youth empowerment.
We are also working with SportAccord as part of our vision to have yoga recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) under the banner “Yoga Games for Global Peace and Unity.”
